   Mission to Seafarers

The Mission to Seafarers is a world-wide agency of the Anglican Church which cares for seafarers of all nationalities and creeds.   As a Christian ministry, the Mission is actively  involved in service and proclamation  within the seafaring community.

The Mission to Seafarers operates in some 300 ports around the world.  In Australia we operate in 23 ports around our extensive coastline, where possible  in association with other like-minded organisations.  As we do throughout the world, we work through a network of chaplains, lay staff and volunteers who offer seafarers a warm welcome, friendship, and practical and spiritual help.

Our Flying Angel flag is well recognised and is a very welcoming sight to visiting seafarers.
