Bluff Point Parish

Bluff Point is the northern parish of the city of Geraldton, 450 km north of Perth Western Australia. It is the regional centre of the mid-west and services a very large area. Geraldton has cray fishing, pastoral (crop/sheep mostly) mineral sands and a busy port with more than 250 ships through the port each year. The city suffers from lack of opportunity for young adult. Many go to Perth for Uni or employment. There are plans for a steel works to be established which would create more employment and possibly bring a University into Geraldton.

St. George's Bluff Point has the largest congregation in NWA, with a mid week service and three services on Sundays. They have GFS, Youth Knights and Bible study groups. There are between 12 - 15 weddings held each year plus many more baptisms which are great opportunities for Christianity Explained.
