Mullewa is located 463kms north of Perth and 100kms east of Geraldton in the Midwest Region.

The Mullewa district has been blessed with innumerable varieties of wildflowers and at the height of spring the district is a mass of colour. There are varieties that are unique to Mullewa or extend slightly beyond.

St Andrew's Anglican Church in Mullewa was the first of the existing churches built in the town. The plain Gothic structure has a steep roof to enable snow to slide off - an unusual feature in a climate ranging between 10 and 40 degrees Celsius. It was constructed from stone quarried locally, the blue granite for the foundations being carted from the Woodrarung River north of the town.
