Wyndham and Oombulgurri are on the coast of the Kimberley Region, 3,229Kms north of Perth at the end of the Great Northern Highway. The town was originally established in 1886, as a result of the Halls Creek gold rush.

Wyndham termed "The Top Town in the West" is the northern most town & port in the State and is the centre of an enormous beef cattle industry. The port also serves the nearby Ord River irrigation scheme (Kununurra).

Two separate Centres of Ministry exist with services at St. Boniface in Wyndham and St. Michael of all Angels at Oombulgurri (on the Forrest River).

The Revd Gary Alexander (wife Nikki) of Kununurra ministers to the Anglican community of Wyndham and Oombulgurri.
